How Materials Work
Materials are the fuel for potions. Most materials add Magic Power, while elemental shards help steer potion elements. Good material management makes potion crafting much more predictable.

Material Magic Power
Magic Power is the value a material contributes to potion crafting. Some community resources may call this Magic Score, but this guide uses Magic Power consistently. High Magic Power materials are harder to replace, so avoid selling them until you know your potion plan.
Where to Get Each Material
Starter ingredients come from simple nodes and chests. Enemy drops start filling mid-tier recipes, while bosses and tougher enemies help with late-game Magic Power totals.
Enemy Drops
Early enemies are useful for repeatable materials such as Goblin Finger, Goblin Bone, Golden Tooth, Dwarf Emblem, and Copper Earring. Farm the enemies that match the material gap in your potion recipe.
Boss Drops
Bosses are worth checking when you need high Magic Power materials or better late-game crafting fuel. Do not burn time on boss farming if your current potion target only needs starter materials.
Chest Rewards
Chests are a flexible source because they can fill missing materials and elemental shards. Make chest routes part of your normal farming loop instead of treating them as a bonus only.
Best Early Game Materials
Blueberry, Seagull Egg, and Withered Mushroom are enough to learn the basic crafting flow. Move into enemy drops once you need higher Magic Power targets.
Which Materials to Keep
Keep elemental shards, rare drops, high Magic Power materials, and any ingredient that appears in a potion route you are actively building.
Which Materials to Sell
Sell only low-value duplicates when inventory space matters. If you are unsure, keep the material until you check the potion guide.
